Background

As part of our Youth Connect programme, we are inviting emerging young leaders in EU/EEA countries and Switzerland to join Leadership for Gender Equality, a five-week online course co-designed with Clore Social Leadership.

Join a growing network of more than 150 young people who are gender equality champions. You will explore new ideas, strengthen your leadership skills and connect with others who want to make a positive difference.

The course includes self-access learning materials – videos, readings, podcasts and articles – and weekly live sessions where you can reflect, ask questions and learn alongside your peers.

By taking part, you will

  • build confidence in your leadership
  • deepen your understanding of gender equality
  • join an active community of young leaders
  • receive guidance from experienced facilitators
  • gain a certificate of completion.

How the course works

The course is delivered online over five weeks. Each week includes:

  • Online course on Clore learning platform: short videos, readings and reflective prompts
  • Practical task: an activity to help you apply your learning
  • Reflective exercise: a short written piece to consolidate your progress
  • Live classroom: a 90-minute session with facilitators and peers

You should expect to spend 3–4 hours per week on the course.

Live classrooms take place every Tuesday from 18.00–19.30 CET on:

  • 10 March 2026

Who can apply

The course is open to everyone. It may be especially valuable for recent graduates, early career professionals and community or corporate team leaders who are interested in gender equality.

To join the course, you should:

  • be aged 18–35
  • live in an EU/EEA country or Switzerland
  • have experience or interest in gender equality and women’s rights or be interested and committed to enhancing your leadership capabilities and influence in this area
  • have a good understanding of English
  • have a stable internet connection
  • be able to commit to the full five-week schedule.

Places are limited. Approximately 30 participants will be selected.
